Your cap/gown will be delivered to your school prior to graduation. Could vary based on the school.
BORROWED CAP & GOWN
Students have an option to borrow a cap, gown, and tassel for graduation. Each student must return the cap, gown, and tassel immediately following the graduation ceremony in order to receive his/her diploma. Students who fail to return the cap, gown & tassel will be responsible to pay full, current replacement prior to receiving their diploma.
Under Education Code section 48904, failure to return each of these (3) items (cap/gown/tassel) in their entirety and undamaged may result in your son or daughter’s diploma being held and not issued until all items are returned or until payment for them has been received by the school.
